Rotational Motion

Quick practice

Question 1 of 5

A uniform, thin metal rod of mass m, length l, is held vertical (\theta=0), with its bottom point resting on a rough horizontal surface. At t = 0, it is slightly disturbed so that it starts to fall down. After some time the angle \theta=60^{\circ}, at this moment the kinetic energy of the rod is K E=A m g l, its angular velocity is \omega=B \sqrt{\frac{g}{l}}, its angular acceleration is \alpha=c \frac{g}{l} and its angular momentum (about origin) is L=D m l \sqrt{g l}, where A, B, C and D are dimensionless constants. If z axis is vertically up, x axis is horizontal, and rod doesn’t slip on the rough surface, then match the constant of the rod in column I with its value in column II.
