Reactors can have different flow effects which causes their behavior to be non- ideal (weakly or strongly). This can then affects the design, the yield or the temperature development of a chemical process. This particular course discusses the principles behind the analysis of these Non-Ideal Reactors. The overall goal of this course is to use the RTD data(residence time distribution), Kinetics and Reactors models to predict the performance of real reactors.
