  2. Scientific proven ways to increase willpower Stop screwing yourself over again and again Give yourself a decent chance to achieve your goals . Know that it is a limited resource (water in desert) . Don't take too many decisions e Sleep well and eat a king size breakfast Choose your battles carefully (don't say yes to anything that come your way)


  3. Realise your limits and breaking point e Realise that everyone is different . It is in limited supply and you will tap on the SAME RESOURCE for everything o Men in general have more impulses and are more prone to rash deicsions, . If you know you wont be able to control your gambling or pouncing upon e Don't start comparing yourself with others actions, procrastination etc. the dessert like a dog, avoid that scenario all together


  4. Anything you don't want to do, eats WP Waking up with a blazing alarm clock, knowing that you have slept for only 5-6 hours e Going for a run in gym, despite your body saying otherwise Want to slap your kid for misbehaving but are unable to e Your car is broke down so you have to take bus, irritation in traffic Know your boss is an idiot, yet you have to listen to him


  5. Anything you don't want to do, eats WP Pretending to listen to a friend, when all you really want is to shut his mouth. You know you are better than your teacher, still you've to listen to him o Not eating the Pani puri, Aloo parantha, Pizza, Popcorn, Snickers eto. e Trying not to fight with your spouse/partner, despite they being a jerk . Any decision (clothes, food, vacation, black/milk coffee, with or without sugar, tall or medium, cream or no, bun musk or samosa etc.) And so on...


  6. "Don't take any major de cisio n when your willpower is at lowest". 5


  7. After you take a major decision, your willpower is at its lowest, so don't take another one


  8. Don't give in midway If you are going to commit a sin, do it right away . Be decisive If you resist the temptation for sometime and then eat the chocolate, the willpower which has already been spend will not come back e Don't be like those kids in marshmallow experiment who resisted for 5-10 minutes but ate it before 15 minutes


  9. Avoid the crises e People with higher self-control have high self-control because they use it sparingly . Most of the highly successful people don't use the willpower to get out of the trouble, they use it to not get into one e Better planning and execution . Don't sit with friends who are eating Pizza/drinking beer, merely sitting with them will need a lot of willpower to resist the urge
