Sir, is there a specific reason as to why a major chunk prefers duty drawback over input tax credit?

Duty drawback means no money is paid to govt and hence will avoid holding of money whereas company has to put in there money with the govt. which will be returned after filing Gst return in input tax credit
Oh okay ..that's right ..got it .Thank you so much :)
friends please clarify this i think in duty draw scheme also first duty is levied on import of raw material etc and then it is paid back when the goods is exported . the difference is that there is no need to file a return. so i think in both ways money is paid to govt pls verify and reply thank you
