What is the test pattern for Unacademy Aspire?

The Tests for Unacademy Aspire are prepared in-line with the real exam pattern for UPSC CSE Prelims Paper - I (GS):

- Each paper will contain 100 questions and the total marks will be 200

- The questions will be objective type with 4 options, with only one correct answer

- Correct answers will be awarded 2 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with 1/3rd of the marks assigned to that question

- The maximum time allotted to attempt each paper is 2 hours

Can I attempt Unacademy Aspire on other dates?

The tests will be conducted live on the 10th, 17th, 25th & 30th of every month. but you can take it after that as well. However, only the aspirants taking the test live will be eligible for the prizes and scholarships

What is the syllabus for Unacademy Aspire?

The syllabus for Unacademy Aspire is in line with the UPSC CSE Prelims - Paper I (GS) syllabus. The questions will be based on the following topics:

- Current events of national and international importance

- History of India and Indian National Movement

- Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, and Economic Geography

- Indian Polity and Governance – The Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights, Issues, etc

- Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc

- General Issues on Environmental Ecology, Biodiversity and Climate Change – that do not require subject specialisation

- General Science

When will the Unacademy Aspire results be announced?

Results will be announced on the same day as the exam.

Will I be eligible to win if I don't take the test live?

No, you can take the test anytime but to be eligible to win, you must take it live

Where and how will I be able to attempt Unacademy Aspire?

You can attempt the test on your desktop or mobile by signing in to the Unacademy website or learning app using your registered mobile number or email address. Please ensure that you have a stable internet connection.

What if I get late for a test?

We encourage you to attend the test live and be on time. However, if you are not able to begin on time, you will need to complete the test within the allotted time to be eligible for the prizes and scholarships.

How many times can I attempt Unacademy Aspire? Will I be eligible for prizes & scholarships again?

Yes, you can take multiple tests but you will only be eligible for prizes or scholarships once a month. You will be eligible for prizes and scholarships both the times if you secure top ranks in two different months.

Will Unacademy Aspire also be conducted offline?

No, Unacademy Aspire will be conducted online, on the Unacademy platform only.

Will I need a login id and password to attempt the tests of Unacademy Aspire?

Use your registered Unacademy Learner credentials to attempt the tests live.

What will happen in case my rank clashes with someone?

In case two learners secure the same rank, both of them will be eligible for the prize allotted for that rank.
